Good therapists focus on stretching anterior muscles and strengthening  the posterior muscles to re-establish their client’s posture. Most of us are not born with bad posture but acquire it just by living our lives. Driving, eating, reading, computers and our cell phones really take a toll on us. When I go to the gym I almost never see anyone stretching their chest.  We massage therapists are so uniquely qualified to address this issue.  Imagine in the future to see all of our older population standing tall!
